The Chlotrudis Award for Best Screenplay was an award given by the Chlotrudis Society for Independent Film. The Chlotrudis Awards is an annual ceremony where the best of the previous year's independent and international film are honored.
Note: From 1997 through 1999, there was only one award given in the category of Best Screenplay. After that year, awards were given in two categories, the Best Original Screenplay and the Best Adapted Screenplay.
